Join us for East End Film Festival’s screening of two explosive films!

A tale of lipstick and counterculture, Colin Rothbart’s debut documentary is a thrilling, hilarious and moving portrait of East London’s alternative drag scene, filmed over five years. Not just a whirlwind of larger than life characters, Dressed As A Girl also showcases the real people behind the flamboyant stage personas, to universally resonant effect.
The film will be preceded by Drag Is My Ecstasy, a short film directed by Joseph Wilson, and followed by live cabaret performances by stars of the film.
Keeping you fuelled throughout the night, our superstar resident chef Tom Hunt will be serving up seasonal, ethical and locally-sourced Middle Eastern BBQ & mezze from 5pm. Our brand new in-house brewery, the 40Ft Brewery, will be supplying delicious craft beer & ale, plus the usual fully stocked bar & King Bloom Cocktails.
Doors open at 5pm, screenings from 7pm – get down early to make sure you get a seat!
Tickets £12
